Provide First Aid in a Remote or Isolated Setting

Please read the information below prior to starting your enrollement in the calendar.

Start Times

Day sessions start at 9am-5pm; allow time for parking, sign-in, and roadworks.

Remote First Aid is a 1 day course.

Students arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be allowed to join the session.

Someone Else is Paying

If someone else is paying for the course, select "Company is Paying" and enter the company details, including the accounts payable email.

Price

$675 *incl light catering.

Rescheduling & Fees

**2 weeks notice is requested for rescheduling due to the extensive preparation required for this course.

Fees apply if:

You do not provide notice
You don’t show up
You’re more than 15 minutes late

Reschedule fees are waived if a Doctor’s Certificate or hospital admission form is provided.

Parking

Free all-day parking is available under the railway bridge (Macquarie Street entrance).

Walk across the road to our location beside Ringers Western.

Talbragar Street parking is limited to 1 hour, with active parking inspectors.

There is no time to move your car once the session has started.

FAQs

What should I bring to class?
Comfortable clothing, and a notebook if preferred.

Can I reschedule?
No. This course is run striclty by demand, and an alternative date cannot be offered.

Do you offer refunds?
Yes refunds will be offered if 14 days notice is provided, minus an administration fee of $45, but reschedules are allowed with 48 hours' notice.)*two weeks notice is required for all advanced courses, inlcuding Advanced First Aid, Advanced Resuscitation & Oxygen Therapy, Remote First Aid and Occupational First Aid.

Is lunch provided?
Yes-light and limited morning tea and lunch (we are not able to cater to special dietary requirements).Water, tea, coffee and cuppa soups are available. There is a smal kitchenette where you can store lunch and also a microwave to heat packed lunches.

Can I bring my baby or kids?

Unforunately you will not be able to bring your children.

Carers needing to feed during the session may do so, but will need to catch up on all practicals that are missed.

This may attract additional fees if the trainer needs to spend extra time after class with you.

We don't have private facilities for feeding, but will help as much as we can.
